2018 Acura TLX vs 2017 Mercedes-Benz C 300
Sure, you might think when it comes to luxury cars, it’s all in the name. Take Mercedes-Benz for example. They have all but dominated the luxury car industry for years, and they’re often one of the first names that come to mind when people think of the common luxury car. The competition is heating up though, and Acura has presented an option that is both more cost-efficient* and offers many of the same – if not better – features. Take a look at our comparison between the 2018 Acura TLX vs 2017 Mercedes-Benz C 300.
Maybe space isn’t the first thing you think of when you buy a luxury car, but there’s more of it in the 2018 TLX. With a maximum passenger volume of 93.3 cubic feet, you know that you’re getting a roomy interior that will allow everyone to enjoy the ride. That’s more than the C 300 has, but that’s not it. Take a look at just a few of the other areas where the TLX beats out the C300.

So it looks like the clear difference between these two lies in what comes standard. There are other standard features in the TLX that come as options or are unavailable in the C 300 including adaptive cruise control, speed-sensing interval wipers, a satellite radio, LED headlights, a power moonroof and much more. However, few things are as important as safety. While both vehicles have a five-star overall crash test rating from the NHTSA, the TLX has five stars in the Front Passenger and Rollover categories whereas the C 300 only has four stars. Collisions are never something we want to think about, but it’s reassuring to know your vehicle is doing something to keep you and your passengers safe. Acura is striving for that with all the vehicles they produce.
It’s exciting to make the switch to luxury, but make sure you’re fully informed before making your decision. If you want to learn more about the 2018 TLX or any other Acura models, stop by Fort Wayne Acura or give us a call today!
